There are a couple of different ways you can claim on services through your cover.
Mobile Claiming App
Our app offers all Members a 24 hour a day, seven days a week full viewing access to your Membership. You can lodge claims directly to us by simply taking a photo of your receipt/s and pressing submit. Download it today for an easy, convenient and secure way to manage your membership.
If your healthcare provider has a HICAPS or HealthPoint electronic claiming facility, you can claim at the time of your consultation – before you even leave the building. The system processes your claim much like an EFTPOS transaction and allows you to just pay the difference and your claim is finalised on-the-spot.
You can use HICAPS or HealthPoint at most of the following health service providers:
- Dentists, endodontists, periodontists, dental prosthetists/advanced dental technicians, prosthodontists and paediatric dentists
- Dispensing optometrists, optical dispensers
- Occupational therapists
Please contact your healthcare professional to see if they offer the HICAPS or HealthPoint facility at their practice.
To use our online service, log in to Online Member Services and follow the steps to submit a claim. You can claim for services like general dental, optical, physio, chiro, massage and acupuncture and many others. You can claim up to $400 per day on services received up to three months before the day you lodge your claim.
Simply enter the details from your receipts and click on the submit button - that's it! Any benefit entitlement will be then paid into your nominated bank account, usually within two business days.
You don't need to submit your receipts with your claim but we may request them for review, so we ask that you keep them for 12 months from the date of claiming. Terms and conditions apply and not all services can be claimed online.
Claiming by email
Email is a fast and convenient way to submit your claim. Just download and complete a digital claim form, and send a scanned copy of the form (including your bank account details) along with your receipts to [email protected]. Please keep your original receipts as we may request them.
Face to face
We have dedicated retail centres available in Townsville (Aitkenvale), Cairns (Earlville), Mount Isa, Ayr and Mackay (Caneland Central) where our friendly staff can help you out with claims or other policy enquiries.
Simply present your claim form with your provider account or receipt and we’ll take care of it for you.
Over the counter
We work closely with Queensland Country Bank, which means you can drop off your printable claim form along with your receipts to any Bank branch. These claims are then forwarded through to the Health Fund for processing.
Simply submit your claim through one of the methods above and your benefits will be paid directly into your nominated account, usually within 48 hours of the claim being processed. This service lets us pay your claim quickly and securely so you can access your money as soon as possible.

Claiming for hospital services
Most hospital claims are settled directly with the hospital after your treatment (once your appropriate excess has been paid, and not including things like phone calls, TV hire/rental, newspapers, parking etc). If you need to submit a hospital claim to us, you can fill out a digital claim form or print one out and email it to us at [email protected].
