2024-25 Private Health Insurance Tax Statements and changing rebate thresholds: Your information will be sent to the ATO later this week and may take a couple of days to appear through pre-filled statements in your tax return via myTax or a registered agent. From 7 July 2025 you can download from OMS. Please be aware that Rebate income thresholds will increase from 1 July 2025. Learn more

You shouldn’t feel forced to elect to be a private patient when in a public hospital. As an Australian citizen you’re entitled to free public hospital treatment and shouldn’t have to use your private health insurance to pay for a public hospital treatment.
